Founded in 1960, Profile Plastics has defined a niche in the custom thermoforming market by producing highly cosmetic, close tolerance parts that meet and exceed our customer expectations. Profile Plastics is not just satisfied with years of successful design implementation and cost-saving production methods but is focused on achieving a reputation as a creative problem solver. We dedicate ourselves to continuing the research and development of the thermoforming processes that will benefit our customers and the industry.

Profile Plastics specializes in custom molded, highly engineered plastic parts manufactured via the thermoforming processes of vacuum forming, pressure forming, and twin-sheet forming. Most of our parts require close tolerance CNC trimming for a precise, consistent fit to meet the demanding quality standards of our OEM customers.

Profile Plastics maintains over 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, warehouse and assembly space filled with custom forming and the latest trimming technologies, incorporating process controls that allow us to produce highly complex parts. We operate three shifts a day for maximum utilization of machinery and consistency in the process.

 

We pride ourselves on complex part designs that have been recognized for excellence (link to awards page) year after year by the SPE Thermoforming Division. We continue to expand our value-added services to meet our customers' needs and extensive design for manufacturing assistance is frequently provided. Most parts are made from ‘engineered materials’ such as ABS, PC/ABS, FR ABS, PC, PETG (brand names including Lexan, R59, Kydex T, Bayblend and many others), with inherent custom color.
